Now this is quite the quality stock photo. A futuristic looking woman is looking at a fresh ear of corn through her visor thingy. This tells quite a lot about the future. First, this woman looks interested in the corn as if she has never seen it before. This isn’t what corn normally looks like naturally as all the corn we eat today is genetically modified to the point where it is larger and tastier. Maybe in the future corn is modified genetically even greater than it is today and the look and shape of corn we know today will be an oddity in the future. What might that corn look like in the future? Bigger? Different color? Maybe we won’t even know what corn looks like in the future. Or any food that is. In the future will we be eating from packets and containers? If that is what the future will be like I am excited to die before then.
